The harmonica player Guy Belanger is one of the top instrumentalists from Quebec. With more than 30 years of experience, he is the long standing star accompanist of Bob Walsh. He has also performed with many of the best Quebecois artists (France D’amour, La Chicane, Nanette Workman etc). His composing credits, with Claude Fradette, include the film score for the film Gaz Bar Blues which won numerous awards in 2004. Guy is now proud to release his first solo album, a mix of Blues, Folk-Roots and inspired instrumental music. A plethora of guest stars appear with Guy on this disc: Bob Walsh, Kim Richardson and Gilles Sioui all sing on selected tracks while Jimmy James, Stephen Barry, Jean-Fernand Girard and numerous others contribute as well.
